College Connect runs independent, student-run "Class of 2031" Instagram pages that incoming freshmen at 25 schools follow to meet each other, find roommates, and make friends before move-in. A feature is your intro to that whole class: your photos, your major and your vibe, posted where everyone's actually looking.

Yes, it's one of the biggest reasons people post. Put "Looking for a roommate" as the short line on your cover or in your bio, add your major and what you're into, and classmates who click with you can DM you straight from your post. We don't match roommates ourselves. We put you in front of your whole class so the right person can find you.

Your feature puts your face, your major, and your interests in front of everyone in your class at once. People comment, follow, and DM the ones they click with, so you show up on move-in day already knowing people.

Pick your school, fill out a two-minute form with your photos and a short bio, and design your cover. A real person on our team reviews it and posts it to the class page within 48 hours of approval.

Posting is free on 18 of our 25 pages, no card needed. The other 7 charge a one-time fee for the feature. Every price is listed on collegeconnecthq.com/pricing. On a free page, picking your post's song is an optional $2 donation that keeps the page free, and it skips the line too. On a paid page, the song is a $0.50 add-on. Either way, you build your post first and see the exact total on the review step before anything is charged.

Within 48 hours of approval, or 24 if your post skips the line. Peak season (spring and summer before move-in) moves fast, so the sooner you submit, the earlier in the feed you land.

Yes. When you build your post you can choose its song. On free pages it's an optional $2 donation that keeps the page free, and as a thank-you your post skips the line (live within 24 hours of approval instead of 48). On paid pages it's a $0.50 add-on, and some paid pages also sell Skip the line on its own.

We'll reach out. If a feature doesn't fit the page for any reason, we let you know, and if you paid, you're refunded in full.

Anyone featured in a post, or a parent if they're under 18, can ask us to take it down at collegeconnecthq.com/remove. We reply in 48 hours or less. Taking a post down removes it from the class page, but it can't reach copies other people already saved, like screenshots or reposts.
